Secret Photo Leaks

If you've been watching the fixed gear blogroll diligently over the last few days you might have picked up on the theme of reflective gear. This is what I term passive-visibility, aka normal looking items for all intents and purposes, but totally reflective as hell.

So, I was a little upset at first when I saw this on HKFixed: http://hkfixed.blogspot.com/2009/01/squarebuilt-reflective-paint.html

Which was a pic of this:


That is a leaked photo of the forth-coming ELVS powdercoat. In this shot, it has been applied to a very nice Squarebuilt frameset.

Joey Krillz, one of their team riders and avowed Prime Minister of Squarebuilt Public Relations/Propaganda, aka this guy:

put it out there. I was mad, but now I'm glad...

People get to see some of what I've been working on for over a year and I'm proud to see it on one of Lance's Squarebuilt frames. He does fantastic work and is located down the road from me in Bed-Stuy (Brooklyn) so it couldn't have worked out any better.

Once negotiations are done, we will be offering ELVS powdercoating to the aftermarket as well as OEM worlds.
